TRIP WITH NATE policies, TERMS, CONDITIONS and general information
​

TERMS OF PAYMENT

​

  • All offers, including but not limited to, bonus amenities, upgrades, prices, and group benefits are based on select dates, ships, resorts, room categories, and / or fare codes. 

  • A deposit of 20% of the quoted package price is required to sign on to any TRIP WITH NATE event package.

  • 45 days prior to the commencement of any services/event package full payment is required.

  • For tours that include services from third party suppliers more stringent policies may apply. All products and offers are subject to availability, capacity, and subject to change without notice. These policies will be provided when applicable.

  • Large group programs may attract specific payment terms which will be provided when applicable.

  • Airline reservations: Payment due immediately on booking; all airfare reservations are arranged subject to the conditions imposed by the respective airline; bookings made within 45 days of commencement of services/event package must be accompanied by full payment of all tour plus any applicable fees.  Some carriers charge additional fees for checked bags, fuel surcharge, meals, etc. Please check the carriers' websites for details. 

  • Airlines require the full names of the passengers as printed on the passports and won’t accept changes once the tickets are booked. For this reason we require a copy of all passengers passports. TRIP WITH NATE does not accept responsibility for incorrect spelling of names, therefore please ensure that you provide accurate information.

  • If payments are made in negotiable foreign currency, the payer/traveler will be responsible for any short payment resulting from exchange rate fluctuations. 

  • If the required deposit or final payment is not received by the due date, TRIP WITH NATE reserves the right to withdraw services.

  • The non-issuing of an invoice or non-payment of deposit will not exempt travelers from these payment terms.

  • Travelers receiving special rates based on residency, age, military, union, etc., will be required to show an appropriate and / or government-issued form of identification (i.e. passport, birth certificate, driver's license, etc.) upon check-in to validate the applicable discount. If a traveler does not provide proper identification they can be denied at check-in and / or will be charged the current standard price.

CANCELLATIONS

​

  • Requests for cancellations must be made in writing. No refunds will be made for any part of this program in which you choose not to participate. 

  • Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to arrival will not normally result in cancellation fees being charged. However, TRIP WITH NATE reserves the right to recover any costs incurred or charges received from suppliers up to the date of cancellation.

  • In the event of services/event packages being cancelled 60 days or less, prior to arrival, the following cancellation fees will be 100% of total quoted service/event package price due.

  • Large group programs may attract specific cancellation terms which will be provided when applicable.

  • Airline reservations are arranged subject to the conditions imposed by the respective airline. No-shows will be charged 100% of the quoted event package price.

  • We recommend that travelers obtain adequate personal cancellation insurance before departure from home destinations.

  • For tours that include services of certain suppliers with more stringent policies different cancellation fees will be enforceable. Cancelation penalties, blackout dates, and other restrictions may apply. These will be provided when applicable.

  • The non-issuing of an invoice or non-payment of deposit will not exempt travelers from these cancellation terms.

 

VISAS AND PASSPORTS

​

  • Agents and guests are required to ensure that all visa and passport requirements are attended to as TRIP WITH NATE accepts no responsibility in this regard.

  • Passports should also have a minimum of two blank passport pages per country visited. The blank pages cannot include the “endorsement” page at the back of the book. If there is insufficient space in the passport, entry into a country could be denied. 

  • If you require a visa, you must ensure that your passport has two blank facing pages – one for the visa and one for the entry stamp.

  • For children under 18 years of age travelling with only one of their parents, the parent will be required to provide a passport and unabridged birth certificate, as well as an affidavit or court order stating that they have permission to travel with their child. Should one of the parents be deceased, a death certificate must be produced.

  • An unaccompanied child requires a passport, unabridged birth certificate, affidavit or court order signed by both parents stating that the child has their permission to travel. In addition, certified copies of the identity document or passport of the person the child is staying with at the destination, as well as contact details and physical addresses are required.

AMENDMENTS AND PACKAGE CHANGES

​

  • Much care has gone into the composition of programs, services and tours for travelers, however circumstances such as currency devaluation, fuel surcharges or price amendments by suppliers may necessitate changes in costs. Should this occur you will be notified as soon as possible.

  • TRIP WITH NATE reserves the right to change the itinerary of the tour without prior notice. Notwithstanding that deposits or complete payments have been made, any increases up until the date of departure of arrangements resulting to the above are to be paid by the traveler. If such increases are unacceptable, the traveler may cancel his/her booking, though in so doing he/she is still liable to pay any cancellation charges imposed in the way of cancellation, administration, communication charges etc.

INSURANCE

 

  • We recommend that travelers obtain adequate personal cancellation insurance before departure from home destinations. In the event that you must cancel your participation in a travel event package, trip cancellation insurance may be the only source of reimbursement.  

  • TRIP WITH NATE provides supplier insurance options available for coverage of expenses, cancellations, illness or accident.  These options are available by TRIP WITH NATE only upon request.

 

INDEMNITY

 

  • All arrangements for transport, accommodations, and services are made upon the express condition that TRIP WITH NATE shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damage, injury, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity of any kind occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond its control, including, without limitation, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third party such as an airline, cruise line, train, hotel, restaurant, ground handler, etc., who is to or does supply any goods or services for TRIP WITH NATE event packages. 

  • TRIP WITH NATE is not responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedule, overbooking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strikes, acts of God, acts of terrorism, war, quarantine, criminal activity, or for any other cause beyond its control.

JURISDICTION

​

This agreement shall be governed by, and construed and enforced in accordance with, the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA without regard to principles of conflicts of laws. Any civil action or legal proceeding arising out of or relating to dealings with TRIP WITH NATE shall be brought in the courts of record of the State of North Carolina. Each party consents to the jurisdiction of such North Carolina court in any such civil action or legal proceeding and waives any objection to the laying of venue of any such civil action or legal proceeding in such North Carolina court.
