Day 0 - 12/26 - Travel to Accra
Travel overnight from your chosen departure city to Accra

Day 1 - 12/27 - Accra
Arrive at Kotoka International Airport (ACC) in Accra, Ghana from the US
Transfer to your hotel for the evening.
Day 2 - 12/28 - Accra
Enjoy the city of Accra traveling to highlights such as Jamestown Light House, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, W. E. B. Dubois Center for Pan African Culture, etc.
Spend the afternoon and late evening at the afropunk festival AFROCHELLA
Spend the night in Accra
Day 3 - 12/29 - Kumasi
Pack up and head further into the heart of Ghana to Kumasi

In Kumasi, take part in a city tour and go to the famous Bonfire Kente weaving village
Stay in Kumasi for the evening.
Day 4 - 12/30 - Kumasi
Continue to explore Kumasi seeing the Kejetia Market and
the Kumasi Cultural Center.
Spend the night in Kumasi

Day 5 - 12/31 - Elmina
Leave Kumasi and head towards Elmina
Visit the slave castles there and learn about our ancestors' final path in Africa before they boarded the boats headed to the Americas
Stay the night in Elmina
Day 6 - 1/1 - Elmina

Walk through the trees on the canopy walk way at Kakum National Park
Enjoy a walking tour of the fishing communities in Elmina and take a stroll on the beautiful white sand beaches of Ghana
Spend the evening doing a bonfire at Oasis beach
Spend the night in Elmina

Day 7 -1/2 - Accra
Enjoy the botanical gardens before you settle into your afternoon cooking class where you will learn how to prepare various Ghanian dishes
After cooking and having lunch, you will depart for the airport for your evening flight back to the U.S.
